I'm starting this blog as a way to document my progress with hobbies. I have various hobbies such as plastic modeling, cosplay, and photography. It would be silly to have a separate blog for each one so I'm deciding to have this blog serve as an aggregate one.

A bit of background about me - I've always had a passion for hands on activities and crafts and build a few plastic models here and there as a kid but nothing too serious. I got interested in Gundam model kits sometime during high school and completed my first kit back in 2005 or 2006 after starting college. I did the 1/100 MG God Gundam about a year later and the Seras Victoria resin kit another year later (I don't work very fast).

I first started going to anime conventions back in 2008 and attend Ohayocon and ColossalCon. I started getting into cosplay in 2010 and did my first cosplay for Ohayocon 2010. I got some help from my mom for the textile portions but I made the props myself. It was an interesting foray into the cosplay world and the following year (2011) I made Roy Mustang myself completely from scratch including drafting my own patterns. It's been a lot of fun and I have a lot of ambitious cosplays that I hope to complete in the future.
